I'm getting antsy for spring and the newest issue of Lucky, packed full of springy stuff, isn't helping! Here are the things I tagged this month:
.) I've been loving gray nail polish all winter long, so I'm all over this more lavender tone for when the weather warms up -- it still has hints of dove gray so it's not too pastel, but it's still lighter and prettier for spring. Essie nail polish in "Lilacism," $8, Essie Shop.
.) Really feeling the sort of urban-tribal vibe of these graphic men's t-shirts; they're giving a little Basquiat and are simple enough to wear as a white-tee replacement. The company also does a really incredible totem-print scarf that I'd love to get my hands on. "Deux Yeux Tant Mieux" tee, $20, and "Grosse Face" tee, $35, Mauve Naïf.
.) I don't think I need to explain why I am obsessed with this scent right now. Check out its notes: Bulgarian rose, pomegranate flower, bergamot, dark chocolate, jasmine, white patchouli, musk, oolong, and -- of course -- cannabis accord. Sounds delicious. I want to wear it forever and ever. Cannabis Rose eau de parfum,$75, Fresh.
.) One thing I really like about Lucky is their periodic spotlights on cool items from Etsy that I never would have found on my own. I'm loving this white rope and silver chain knot bracelet, which has a cool kind of gamine sophistication and is totally on point with the nautical trend that's about to experience another major moment. Sailor's knot bracelet, $18, The Vamoose.
.) Another sweet Etsy find: these generously-sized (and generously priced) recycled canvas totes printed with all manner of appropriately hip motifs. Among the choices are a vintage camera, a couple of cute owls, an old-school record player, and a stag, but my favorite is this to-the-point fly print. One of these might make a good Mother's Day present...I'm just saying. Recycled classic tote, $10, The Craft Pantry.
.) I'm not one of those MAC girls -- you know who I'm talking about, right? Those makeup mavens who swear by MAC cosmetics and can rattle off the names of every product no problem -- but I admit their upcoming collaboration with Liberty Of London looks pretty incredible for the packaging alone, never mind how good the colors are. I'm excited to check out the Bough Grey eyeshadow and this perfect nail polish. Not sure when the collection will be hitting stores, but keep your eyes out.
.) Lace was huge on the spring runways and I like this easy little black lace mini, which Lucky paired with a cream lace tank and a skinny yellow belt. Mixing lace for spring. Yes. It's going to be good. Lacy yoke skirt, $18.90, Heritage 1981.
.) You know how some people say you can never be too rich or too skinny? For me, you can never have eyelashes that are too long. I was blessed with naturally long lashes to begin with (thanks, Mom!) but I'm still always striving for crazy lushness that borders on the ridiculous, so lash primers and fancy mascaras really appeal to me. This product both primes your lashes for better, fuller mascara application and pumps them full of vitamins that promise more fullness than ever after a few weeks of use. Sign me up. Tarte MultiplEYE Natural Lash Enhancing Primer, $22, Sephora.
.) Gap has never been one of my favorite stores, but the new denim stuff they're coming out with for spring is killing. It. I absolutely die for these perfectly '70s-feeling denim chambray shirts in light and dark washes -- they will be so good with my indigo-wash high-waisted bellbottoms and some chunky clogs in a couple of months. Yes. Chambray western and washed chambray button-up shirts, $59.50 each, Gap.
.) Vera Wang's Rock Princess is my favorite perfume right now (it smells kinda deep and earthy and is just so good!), so I'm pretty excited to get a whiff of the new Glam Princess scent, which has juicy notes of guava, pear, honey, cedarwood, and marshmallow. Um, that sounds awesome. Vera Wang Glam Princess eau de toilette, $45, Sephora.
.) Is it weird that at 24 I am already completely obsessed with anti-aging skin products? Because I really am fanatical about moisturizers and eye creams and night treatments and this new two-part systems sounds pretty crazy: it increases electrical activity in your skin, which therefore increases collagen and elastin and all these other science-y things that make your complexion look fresh and awesome. Basically you get the antiaging effects of a skin peel without all the harsh chemicals -- love that -- plus the whole high-tech process is kind of too weirdly appealing to ignore. Neutrogena Clinical Facial Lifting Wrinkle Treatment, $35, drugstores.
.) OK, I included this studded-lapel trench from F21 even though it looks cheap to me because I've been thinking about studding up a khaki trench for a few weeks, and now I feel validated. I wouldn't do the lapel (though it does look pretty good); I have it in mind to stud up one arm from the cuff to the elbow for a heavy kind of Man With The Golden Arm vibe. Good idea? I think so. Studded trench coat, $42.80, Forever 21.
What was on your Lucky List this month?

Ahh, yes! I'm terrified to even bad mouth any MAC products for fear of these fanatics. MAC is good, but it's not THAT good.
