I always say that I like dressing for cold weather best, but man, by the time February rolls around I'm always so sick of all my winter clothes. I barely even know where to begin when I'm putting outfits together anymore -- I just want bare legs and light blouses and open toes! Today's look was borne of that "fuck I don't even know what to wear anymore" feeling. Considering how much I hate all my clothes right now I think it turned out okay:
Pretty basic. The sweater is my boyfriend's, which helped me to at least feel like I'm not recycling the same 10 pieces in and out of every outfit. To pump it up a little bit I wore my huge chain necklace on top. I don't usually do a big bangle and a statement necklace, but I wanted to wear my new Lyric Culture bracelet today and I think it's subdued enough that the two pieces don't overpower each other.
Speaking of the bangle...Lyric Culture does accessories printed with famous lyrics (mostly cheesy shit like "Give Peace A Chance," which, I mean...nice sentiment, but gag me), and this black leather bangle with the hook from KISS' "Rock and Roll All Nite" on it in sterling silver was totally my jam. I know it's a little hokey, but Dressed To Kill is my favorite KISS album, and when I saw it on Hautelook for really cheap I couldn't resist:
Plus, you know, I do want to rock and roll all night (and party every day), so I kind of love it. I like how it's pretty classic-looking so it will go with pretty much everything and I'll always be reppin' Paul and Gene.

How killer are those blue pumps?! This outfit is all in the details - I love it.
i need your shoes.
now, if only you were a size 5, then i could [virtually] snatch them off your feet! but you look much lovelier in them (: the color is beautiful, and it adds that pop of color and unexpected detail in your outfit that makes it all the more unique.
bisous,
la c.
