I feel like there's a bit of a proportion issue going on with the height of the boots vs. the length of the skirt -- knee-high boots probably would have worked better -- but it's OK overall.
I'm wearing nude lace tights, which don't really translate in the above photo but which I really love. I feel like they're a nice alternative to a nude fishnet and I like them for days when I don't want to wear opaque black tights but I don't want to go bare-legged either. Here's a close shot of the texture:

Also, after writing about the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Belle Du Jour a couple of weeks ago, I decided to go ahead and order it for myself (I was inspired by the Olsen twins' subtle nude lip look in this Who What Wear post).
This particular pencil is one of my favorite beauty products ever to begin with (it's also my go-to red; I use Red Square), and I love, love, love this shade. I was unsure if it was going to work for me before it arrived, but once I slicked it on all doubts went out the window. I'm basically obsessed. It lightens the lip without looking chalky and comes off kind of '60s femme fatale (hence the name, I guess):

I had to run out and buy these tights immediately after reading this post. Haven't tried them yet, hope I'm able to pull them off half as well as you.
