Does this coat look familiar?

I couldn't stand it anymore, so I just buckled down and bought it! I don't think I've ever spent that much ($170 -- that's a lot for me!) on one item of clothing before, and it was worth every cent. I'm completely and totally obsessed with it.

I thought it was black and gray, but when it arrived I realized it's actually a super dark navy, though it's hard to tell in the photo above because the flash on my camera combined with the lighting where I take my photos makes everything come out really bright and yellow, but here's a more accurate detail shot:

I wasn't expecting it to be blue, but it's subtle enough that it pretty much appears gray. The faux fur is great -- super soft and luxe feeling. I'm incredibly happy with this thing and I am going to wear the shit out of it this winter.

For in the office, I swapped the coat out for my little black tuxedo jacket:

I'm really into this look, too. I think the over-the-knee boots kind of make it happen. Worn with a short skirt and a bare leg, they come off a little aggressively sexy, but with black jeans the raciness is tempered back and instead they convey a "don't fuck with me" kind of attitude that's in charge and rock 'n roll and sexy in a more powerful way. Love them too.
