I spent the weekend at my boyfriend's, so this morning I threw this work look together out of the pieces I had lying around at his house. I didn't expect it to turn out post-worthy, but I actually like it:

Now that fall is in the air (at least in the mornings -- we're still unfortunately subject to temps in the 70s and 80s in the afternoons here in Southern California), my little leather motorcycle jacket is getting a real workout again. I can't help but wear it to death because it looks good with everything. For the office, my cropped tuxedo jacket and lantern skirt are a fresher, more youthful take on the traditional skirt suit.

Picked up these dark gray suedette platform T-straps with metallic pewter details a couple of weekends ago for super cheap and I really love them. They're unbelievably comfortable and so cute:

I've decided to see how long I can grow my hair out for before I get sick of it and chop it all off again. It's long enough now to sweep back, so this has been my go-to hairstyle recently. My roots come in quite dark and lighten up toward the ends, so wearing it like this really draws attention to its natural color:

We'll see how long I can let it go. A few years ago I had a pretty decent '80s K.K. Downing shag, and I'd like to get there again. I was also pretty enamored with Freja Beha's loose shag at Versace a couple of weeks ago:
