A few picks for the summer months -- the warm weather gets me into vivid florals, scummy tees, studded accoutrements, super-bright colors, and cool gold jewelry that feels one-of-a-kind.
1.) Loving the idea of these denim leggings (with zippers at the ankles!) to wear with longer tees and tanks for days when real jeans are too heavy. Purple Label "Miss Pinky" denim leggings, $24, 80s Purple.
2.) This is the back of this cute floral mini, but with its big exposed railroad zipper the back is the best part. I've been hunting for floral pieces that are both work-appropriate and in keeping with my personal style, and this skirt checks both boxes nicely. Exposed zipper floral skirt, $14.80, Forever 21.
3.) This gold-plated piece has got to be one of the coolest, most unusual rings I've ever seen. It's also available with a plum jade stone or mother-of-pearl, but I thought this light turquoise had the best earthy quality. Kendra Scott turquoise magnacite "Nest" ring, $68, South Moon Under.
4.) I have a real weakness for ram- and goat's-head jewelry (for reasons that ought to be obvious to any regular reader by now). This gold bracelet looks almost antique, like it was excavated from some badass ancient Roman priestess's digs. Into it. Kenneth Jay Lane ram's head bracelet, $52, ShopBop.
5.) I'm all about the tough quality of these mismatched shoulder-dusters. They'd look great as a counterpoint to feminine clothes but could also up the ante of a t-shirt and shorts, no problem. Lily.Lys tusk earrings, $29, I Don't Like Mondays.
6.) These heels have been haunting my dreams since I first laid eyes on them a few weeks ago. Everything about them -- from the skyscraping platform heel to the cutout shape to the excellent tiny ball studs to the unexpected color -- is one hundred percent perfect. Stud-decor cutout heel, $24.20, GoJane.
7.) Heart-shaped sunglasses are a little precious, but worn with the right thing (I'm thinking dirtbag t-shirts and cutoff shorts) they can work so well. I love this pair's exaggerated shape and studded embellishment. Heart sunglasses, $5.80, Forever 21.
8.) June, July, and August are pretty much the only months during which neon pinks and oranges on your fingers and toes aren't just acceptable but totally de riguer. These two highlighter-bright shades are favorites of mine. OPI nail lacquer in Atomic Orange and La Paz-itively Hot!, $7.32 each, Nail Polish Diva.
9.) Really feeling these kinda edgy graphic tees -- the white one has a burger and fries (or is it a skull?) and the yellow one features a goofy R. Crumb cartoon. Perfect for sporting with denim or for tossing over a bikini at the beach. Men's "Destroy" and women's R. Crumb "Stoned Agin" t-shirts, $32 each, Altru Apparel.

Damn. I need that exposed zipper floral skirt. You are not doing either of our shopping habits any good! We are having a garage sale this weekend. If I do well, maybe I will buy it. We would wear it so differently, that would be so cool. We should totally do that! I know we having matching boots, but something else like that would be kind of fun. Or maybe I'm goofy. :D
Melissa, I REALLY want that skirt too. It's the thing that is making it really hard for me to stick to my no-shopping rule right now! Give me a few days, I might buckle. Then we can do twin outfits on WIWT2!
I know! It's only $12. LOL. We have issues, girl. That would be so totally fun. I already know what shoes/shirt I'd wear with it. Hahaha.
Great picks I love #6, those yellow studded shoes.. You have got to purchase those, they will look great on you... Hey please check out my clog, I have added you to my page. Thank's

I can't stop looking at those shoes, either. I've been dreaming about them in every.single.color.
Ugh, I want that skirt. I hope they have it when I go to Vegas this week.
If you want a nice colour that is basically a combo of the two you posted, check out Cajun Shrimp by OPI, I love it!
