A comparatively conservative look for me today. I'm going to be conducting some interviews so looking extra professional is key. Since I typically eschew traditional office dressing, putting together an outfit like this feels kind of like playing dress-up.
I planned to wear this outfit with my nude patent platform slingbacks instead of the studded flats, but sadly I think I lost one of them this weekend when I was drunk. (I hope I didn't because I love those shoes, but it sounds like something I would do, and only the right one can currently be found.)
Here's a detail shot of the shirt's stripe pattern -- and of course I had to throw on my huge chain necklace to give the look a little bit of edge:
Button-up shirt: $9.80, Forever 21.
Silver chain necklace: $12, Forever 21.
Zip-front pencil skirt (worn backwards): $10, H&M.
Studded suede flats: $30, Zara.

I really like this look on you! The fit and proportions are nice.
I once lost my contacts when I was drunk. They were gas permeable lenses, so they were NOT cheap and I had to wear glasses for a long time after.
I love this Janet Leigh circa Psycho look you have going on.
Sounds like you enjoyed your weekend! I hope you find your missing shoe!
