Do any of you guys get Lucky magazine? I'm a subscriber, and one of my favorite monthly rituals is sitting down with a crisp new issue and tagging the crap out of it with those convenient "Yes!" stickers they include with the magazine. I rarely actually buy anything that I tag, but sometimes I do, and even when I don't, tagging items gives me an idea of things I want to search for when I shop and gives me a better overall picture of my style scope for the month.
Another thing that's fun about tagging Lucky is looking at what other people tag. A lot of my girlfriends also get the magazine, and I really like going through their copies and seeing what they've marked. I like seeing what items we have in common, and what things they've tagged that reflect their own personal style.
Thus, I'm introducing a new monthly feature to WR2BAM: The Lucky List. Every month after I go through my stickering spree of the new issue, I'll post what I marked here on my blog. (If you have a blog and also tag up your issues of Lucky, it would be fun to see what you've tagged, too!)
Anyway, here's what I tagged this month:
Mostly shoes this month, and, embarrassingly enough, the majority are by Jessica Simpson. I never thought I liked her but apparently we have similar taste in footwear.
Top row, L to R:
Purple croc-print patent "Dover" slingbacks, $93, Jessica Simpson, Zappos.
Dark brown anaconda-print "Parigi" platform pumps, $93, Jessica Simpson, Zappos.
Teal faux-leather miniskirt, $25, H&M.
Middle row, L to R:
Brown leather "Dane" platform sandals, $95, Report Shoes.
Crystal and hematite ring, $32, Kenneth Cole New York, at select Macy's stores.
Gray "Madison" faux-leather ankle boot, $35, Payless.
Bottom row, L to R:
Sephora Lush Flush Lip & Cheek Stain in Wine, $10, Sephora.
Givenchy Phenómen' Eyes Mascara, $27, Sephora.
Iridescent "Rachella" shoe-boots, Jessica Simpson, $109.95, Endless.
Here's some other stuff I tagged in this issue:
- Adorable wide-leg cords from Gap for $55 -- they're not on the website yet but I expect they should be in stores soon.
- Golden State Clothing. The website is under construction but it appears that this is a line of cute, affordable clothing. I'll be checking back regularly to see if the site is up.
- A few stores in Los Angeles that I hope to check out soon: Dolce Vita for fabulous and relatively affordable shoes, Mister Freedom and Shareen Vintage for meticulously sourced vintage, and Pixie Market for stuff from local indie designers.

I LOVE this idea, babe! I love Lucky and have a subscription and have the same ritual as you. ;)
Maybe I'll post what I tag this month...when my issue gets here, that is!
You totally should! It would be really fun if a whole bunch of fashion blogs had Lucky lists...I'm always so interested to see what other people pinpoint as must-haves.
I do the same thing with the "yes" stickers! And I tagged the H&M skirt, too! I also save past issues, and sometimes go back through them and cut out things that didn't previously interest me. It all goes into a scrapbook with clippings from different mags and catalogs. I think you're onto something here with your Lucky list idea!
What a great idea. Though we don't get Lucky magazine here.
I'm stoked on the crazy mascara too! And what the crap, I never would have thought it, but Jessica Simpson or her people or whoever can whip up a mean pair of shoes!
I'm definitely a subscriber to Lucky Mag and Instyle, except I throw all my stickers out and rip out all of the advertising that keeps flipping the book back to the their stupid page. Awwww!
