Style trademarks
'60s and '70s-inspired minidresses, vintage heavy metal t-shirts, my short platinum crop, platform heels (4" minimum -- go big or go home!), gaudy gold jewelry, black winged eyeliner, ridiculously short shorts for summer, opaque tights with everything for cold weather.

Favorite item of clothing
It's a tie between my 1987 Iron Maiden "Eddie Lives...Somewhere On Tour" t-shirt and a loose navy silk minidress with a '60s circle print from Banana Republic. I would definitely cry if I had to part with either of them.

Worst fashion moment
Mainstream mall goth in my early teens. This was in the late '90s when Hot Topic and nu-metal were having a serious moment, so you can imagine what that meant for me -- cheesy dagger necklaces, giant platform Frankenstein boots, fishnets in untoward colors and textures, inch-thick raccoon eyeliner, and studs on everything. My winter formal dress during this period, a Morticia Addams-esque crushed velvet affair with bell sleeves and a satin bodice, reduced my mother to tears in a crowded mall. For this I will never forgive myself.

Best fashion moment
Right now! I love what I wear these days and there is no substitute for feeling good about that.

I'll never be caught dead in
Any kind of loungewear. Sweatpants and their ilk are not for the public eye.

Fashion "don't" I'll never let go of
Double denim. I love a denim jacket with jeans. If it's good enough for AC/DC, it's good enough for me.

What I'll be dropping mad cash on when I become a millionaire

Christian Louboutin shoes, Marc By Marc Jacobs purses, Lanvin and Chloe dresses, House of Waris jewelry, Ferragamo boots, Balenciaga and Gucci EVERYTHING, the list goes on and on, really.
